How much water does an energy star dishwasher use?

I need a new dishwasher & want one that doesn't use a lot of water. How much do dishwashers generally use?

1. energy star is a hydro rating, kilowat hour usage. check out web sites like matag, G.E. or LG, you might find the water consumption rate there.
