- washer /dryer is a washing machine and dryer combined - they don't work very well. A vented dryer needs a hole in the wall and a connecting pipe for steam to escape. A condensing dryer does not.
- a washer dryer both washes and dries and is only one machine. a tumble drier just dries and tumbles and spins like a washing machine. a vented tumble drier has a vent to allow all the excess steam to escape.
- tumble dryer blows the hot air out into the room, vented has a vent to the outside and washer dryer has both in one machine so that it washes and then dries straight away
- A Tumble Dryer (with condenser) needs no outlet to the air to let away the hot air / steam. A Vented Tumble Dryer needs an outlet to the air to let away the hot air / steam. Washer Dryer is a washing machine with a built in Tumble Dryer (either Vented or not)
- Tumble dryer is a clothes dryer used to remove the moisture from a load of clothing and other textiles, generally shortly after they are cleaned in a washing machine. Vented tumble dryer: Traditional dryers continuously draw in the cool, dry, ambient air around them and heat it before passing it through the tumbler. Afterwards, the resulting hot, humid air is simply vented outside to make room for more dry air to continue the drying process.
