Do you clean out your dishwasher? If so how often?

- My dishwasher doesn't need cleaning because I live in a soft-water area. But my sister lives in a hard-water region, and she has to run vinegar through once a week.
- Yes, any time it gets dirty. But that does not happen very often.
- Yes I do. Once a week, I leave it empty, just put in soap, and a bit of bleach, then run it on a normal wash. That way it kills the germs that may be there.
